Frank Vandenbroucke & Lod & B'Rock - De Triomf van de menselijkheid - Lecture Songs #2 Nederlands: Bij de start van het nieuwe jaar horen goede voornemens. B'Rock en muziektheater LOD creëren daarom een tweede editie van hun 'Lecture Songs'. In deze hybride concertreeks voegen zij muziek en speech samen tot een retorisch geheel. Muzikaal wagen zij de sprong naar de tragische figuur van Orpheus. Die wist met zijn verheven muziek de Griekse goden te beroeren, maar kon desondanks zijn geliefde toch niet terughalen uit de dood. Dit tragisch verhaal vormt de voedingsbodem van een bezinnende nieuwjaarsrede bij monde van politicus Frank Vandenbroucke: over wat is en wat nog kan komen. Een veelbelovend concert met een filosofisch kantje. Français : Le début de l'année s'accompagne toujours de bonnes résolutions. C'est ainsi que B'Rock et le théâtre musical LOD créeront la deuxième édition de leur 'Lecture Songs'. Dans cette série hybride de concerts, ils fusionnent musique et discours en un tout rhétorique. Du point de vue musical, ils se penchent sur le personnage tragique d'Orphée, qui grâce à sa musique céleste, parvint à émouvoir les dieux grecs, sans réussir néanmoins à ramener sa bien-aimée du royaume des morts. Cette histoire tragique constituera la base d'un inspirant discours de nouvel an du politicien Frank Vandenbroucke, qui parlera de ce qui est, mais aussi de ce qui doit encore venir. Un concert prometteur avec un petit côté philosophique. English: The start of the New Year is the time for good resolutions. B'Rock and LOD music theatre are therefore working on the second of their 'Lecture Songs'. In this hybrid concert series they bring music and speech together to form a rhetorical whole. In their music they are venturing into the realm of the tragic Orpheus. With his sublime music he was able to move the Greek gods, but in spite of this was not able to bring his beloved back from the dead. This tragic story is the basis for a reflective New Year speech by the politician Frank Vandenbroucke: about what is and what may still come. A promising concert with a touch of philosophy. |
